Lamb Day - Lemkes Kieke in Roermond
On Monday 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday) and Sunday 12 April, you are welcome at the Beatrixhoeve in Roermond for Lemkes Kieke. Between 10:00 and 15:00 you can see newborn lambs up close and discover life on the farm. To avoid excessive crowds, we are working with a ticket system this year. Please order your ticket in advance. Come for a cuddle and enjoy a pleasant day out.
Come and see and cuddle the lambs
During Lemkes Kieke, De Wassum Landschapsbeheer and the Beatrixhoeve open their stable doors to visitors. You will see how the young lambs grow up and admire them from nearby. Many of the lambs enjoy being cuddled for a moment. Meanwhile, the farmers tell more about the work on the sheep farm and daily life among the animals.
From wool to yarn and a horse ride
There is more to discover around the farmyard. In the wool studio Farm to Knit you can see how wool from the sheep eventually turns into yarn and wool products. Children can also enjoy a special experience: take a calm ride on one of the gentle horses that live on the farm. This way you experience the farm not only up close, but also from the saddle.
A cosy outing for the whole family
The Beatrixhoeve is located in the quiet countryside of Roermond and forms the setting for a relaxed day on the farm. Walk around the yard, ask the farmers your questions and of course meet the lambs. Please note: tickets must be ordered in advance. Children up to one metre in height can enter for free.
