You cycle along quiet paths through historic villages and across the Limburg countryside. The Maas is always nearby, while farmland, forests and nature areas alternate. With a bit of luck, you may spot a deer, wild boar or pheasant in the greenery.
Nature and culture
Alongside nature, you will also pass places with a story. Historical buildings are spread along the route, each reflecting the past of this region. Take a moment to stop, look around and discover what makes this area special.
Taking a break
Along the route, you will find several terraces where you can sit down for something to eat or drink. Many of these places also offer charging points for your e-bike, so you can continue your journey feeling relaxed.
The route follows the cycling junction network, allowing you to start at various points. A possible starting point is the parking area between junctions 61 and 87 in Asselt. From here, you begin a varied journey along water, villages and nature, ending your ride on a sunny terrace.
