The completely revamped Second World War exhibition takes you back to a dark period in our history. Experience the stories of the people who lived and worked here and discover how the war affected the lives of the inhabitants of Peel and Maas. Daily life in the 1950s is also covered in detail. Imagine yourself back in time and discover how people used to live, work and play.

For young visitors

For young visitors, there is plenty to do. Go on a treasure hunt through the museum, try to crack the code of the mysterious WWII chest and experience the excitement of a real earthquake in our interactive simulator.Afterwards, you can enjoy a well-earned break in our cosy catering facility. Taste the atmosphere of the monastery and end your visit with a cup of coffee and a piece of Limburg flan.
