It is a (undershot)water mill that was used as grain and oil mill. In undershot mills, the wheel in motion by the water flowing from the blades. Opened at Pentecost - July 1, Sundays and holidays 13.00 - 17.00 is the mill in operation. July 1 to August 31 Sunday / Thursday 13.00 - 17.00 mill in operation. Monthly 1st and 3rd Saturday 10:00 to 14:00 hours, oil mill in operation.
Sint Ursula mill or Leu mill
In the Netherlands are around a hundred mills to find, more than fifty in Limburg. One is the Leu mill or St.Ursula mill on the Leubeek in Leudal.
