Teggerse Lake was created by gravel extraction and is located in Ohé and Laak. There are lovely walks along Teggerse Lake. There is also a lot of fishing on this lake, especially for whitefish.

Around this lake there are also beautiful walks. The walking route prachtplekken Eiland in de Maas (12.3 km) passes the 3 gravel lakes of Ohé and Laak. These are the Teggerse Lake, the Dilkens Lake and the Schroevendaalse Lake. Furthermore, this beautiful walking route also passes the Geleenbeek. The route passes through Stevensweert and Ohé en Laak, these villages situated between two arms of the Meuse. This unique location has earned the history of both villages.

Fishing on the Teggerse Lake

If you want to fish at Teggerse Lake, you can get a weekly permit from the Stevensweert-Ohé en Laak Regional Museum. The area is 5.8 ha in size. The maximum depth is 3.5 metres and the average depth is 2.5 metres. Catches are mainly whitefish. Night fishing is not allowed here.
